Though it's nice to see a new kid on the block, I can't say I have much faith in these chips.
Just the fact that they need two chips to come close to the performance of competeting products brings doubt. Then there's the issue with the power connectors which isn't exactly hope-giving.

Sure they're just starting, but by the time these cards are released it won't be long until ATi and nVidia have released their next productlines.

These cards are coming in the end of Nov early Dec, i.e. XGI is already working on their next chip, to be released sometime this spring, to compete with the nv40 and the R420...
