So, has anyone tried it on the brave old v5? I heard it's based on the NFS:HP2, so it shouldn't be a problem right?

Lol, yes it is... just over 220mb.. :)

Anyway, the good news is that it works great on a Voodoo5.
Using the 1.07 x3dfx drivers on win98se, no corrupt graphics or any abnomalities. Quite a fun game too.....

@mort
i ran NFS : HP2 under Win98SE/DirX8.1b and my V5 with the Amigamerlin 2.9 and the NuDrivers 5

so under Win2k, i can say only to try the demo with the Amigamerlin 3.0 for Win2k/XP and if you have some difficulties, try the Amigamerlin 2.5SE for Win2k/XP then the x3dfx Voodoo4/5 Win2K V1.07.00 (13 fev 2001) (this is the same D3D core like in the x3dfx Voodoo4/5 Win9x V1.07.00)

ooh, pretty...can't wait to get it now...but why are you in fourth place? oh yeah, and I had NFS:HP2 running fine with the amigamerlin series drivers, back when I had the v5 in my other PC with both XP and 98se. At that time the latest Amigaerlin was 2.5se, but 3.0 should still work.

yeah, uh huh....anyways, how well does it run? What are your system specs? And how does it run if you turn on AA? Finally, does the rear view mirror work? I could never get this to work on nfs hp2.
