Yep, is that possible? My V5 6k screams for more CPU power and a Mobile could give it to her. At MSI's product page no Mobiles are listed. Has anybody tried to use a combination like mine?

the mobile chips should work in any motherboard supporting socket a processors. i've successfully used mobile chips in chipsets as old as the kt133a, which netted me 2.5 ghz on a board never meant to go beyond 1.7

if the board has overclocking options, you should be fine. i think that board does. if not, or if the options are limited, you may have to resort to pin modding.

but, yes, a mobile will significantly boost your platform. keep everything synchronous on the kt333 platform and you'll appreciate the results.
