Use the leatest final version of the official 3dfx drivers. And yes, you can use WickedGL.

AMD Athlon64 3200+@4200+, MSI K8N Neo4-F, 1gb Supertalent 480mhz, VooDoo 5 5500 Mac@PC

place the latest mesafx opengl32.dll to your spearhead folder, together with this glide3x.dll:
http://www.3dfx.cz/download/glide3x_v345.zip

wickedgl works as well, you just need to install it correctly.see here:
http://www.shifter.sk/helppage/default_fix.htm#wickedgl

and one more thing (actually two): try to use the edit button ,and please stop using multiple question marks, its driving me nuts.

Sorry about the two things.....
And, the WickedGL is actually does not work!!!!!!
That means it can load into the game,
but the game screen is very nasty....
So many texturing errors~~~~~~~~
So dark~~~~~~
Trees become red in colour~~~~~
Men become brown in colour~~~
And something like that.....

Did you try to start a new game instead of a saved game ? Maybe I'm wrong. I understand that you update your drivers and trying to play your saved games... Usually you can't do that. It's like patching the game. The saved and the restart doesn't match.

kickstart - voodoo.5.5500.agp.64mb/voodoo.3.2000.pci.16mb.mobo.asus.p2b-f.p3-450 mhz.512.mb.133mhz.sb.pci128.isa.56k.us.robotic.isa.3com.ethernet.card.lg.cd-rw.52x32x52x.hd1.30.gig.maxtor.hd2.5.gig.seagate.

Oh~~~I see....
You mean that restart the mission I am playing now?
Or, restart all the missions(start a new single player game)?

naah, the 8mb shouldnt really matter (hitman3 shouldnt run on anything lower than 32mb hw tl card and yet it runs on a single voodoo2 without much trouble).but make sure you are not trying to run the game in 32-bit color or something like that.basically, try setting all graphics options as low as you can, including the resolution..
