In 3DMark01 I only get about 2200 with my voodoo 5 5500 pci(its running with both chips..single chip gets like 1200). I looked at some other scores and they're around 4000..why is it soo low?
specs:
albatron km18gpro
amd athlon xp 2200 at stock (13x133, not much OCing options on microATX mobo..)
256mb pc3200 ram
audigy 1
voodoo 5 5500 pci 64mb

I could try it in my Athlon 64 rig but then I'd have to mess with conflicting drivers and stuff, i don't want to slow down my main rig..

edit: using Amigamerlin 3.1 R1 XP drivers..

You should be getting about 2500 points with that configuration.
Are you running any backgrounds program? Any spyware perhaps?

I am suffering the same problem, but not that worse. A V5 5500 PCI seems to be a lot slower in 3dmark 2001, than an AGP is. I had a mere 2500 points with my first PCI. Then, with the same settings and another PCI, I ended up with 2200.

That also seems to be very PCI revision dependent.. Kinda weird problem.. but anyway.. A AGP is always faster.
