I Finally got one of these 24" monitors. However Im having trouble with it. I cannot acces the 2048x1536 resolution This is by far the biggest CRT monitor on earth and it does support this resolution

However i am using it on my voodoo 5 and it wont work on this resolution. I cant blame the card either because when i put it on a 22" monnitor from Yiama it does work on 2048x1536. Some of you will probably remember i was trying to play quake 3 on this resolution a while ago. Even MesaFX was programmed to support this resolution. I've tried to change some ini files from sony and 3dfx but i wont help. It looks like a hardware conflict. I was hoping sombody could help me with this.

OK if you think it could help other people, no problem
I think the problem occurs because the GDM is a 16:10 monitor and not the standard 4:3 The maximum resolution of the monitor is 2304x1440. But the card can only go to 2048x1536. Now because the card cannot go up to 2304 in with it uses 1920x1440 as the maximum. If you take the driver from sony you can extract several files. In the ini the maximum resolution (2304x1440)appears three times, all of them ned to be replaced with 2048x1536. Reinstaal the monitor with the new inf and 2048x1536 is accesible. Awesome resolution for Quake 3 on Amigamerlin 3.0 I will not post screenshots again because they are already some old ones somewere around here. As for the pictures of my new system. Eventually they will come but its not done yet
