I have no idea what I'm doing. I could use some help.  My son has a PIII 800Mhz. computer with a Hercules Prophet G2 MX200 video card on Windows 98SE.  He has some old games that are optimized for the 3dfx chipset that are difficult to run on the Hercules card.  I have a Diamond Monster II card I would like to install.  I have downloaded FastVoodoo2 4.0 Gold Edition Drivers.  Will this driver work with this card?  I have a friend that is telling me no. I need Diamond 'only' drivers to get this card to work.  I'm thinking a Voodoo2 is a Voodoo2.  Can anyone help me?? Also, how difficult is it to set up the refresh rate.  The release note mention something about doing it manually.

No way man. Don't use those old drivers. They all used the reference drivers, but then put another picture with it etc. The best drivers are the fastvoodoo2 4.0 GE drivers you can find them @ 3dfxzone.it
