A few questions. I had a ati rage 128 32mb AGP card. My buddy gave me a Voodoo5 64mb PCI card. Is the voodoo better? I installed sfft drivers that now say agp although I have a PCI. I tried this MMO game I've been playing called Space Cowboys. The screen is missing parts while I'm playing. Did I not set up the card correctly? Does SFFT support directx 9? Although it played before with the other card, should I try that software that emulates T&L?

hardware-wise,voodoo5 is (much) better than rage128,but dx8/9 support is incomplete, keep in mind that those are 3rdparty driver and while the progress has been great, they are not perfect.some games run fine, some have problems, some wont run at all.

try posting your full system specs, screenshots of the game, minimum system requirements..that could help a bit.

have you tried playing around the video settings in the game?

My Computer:
P4 2.0ghz, 256mb ram, Voodoo5 5500 PCI 64mb

Minimum Requirements:
OS support: Windows9x/2000/XP/2003 32-bit
Pentium 3-1G, RAM 256M, 32MB 3D accelerator VGA card

I installed the Amigamerlin 3.1 R-11 driver. The colors were correct now except still missing what's supposed to say Inventory below the music player. Also, in this screenshot, my character is supposed to be standing where you see that shadow, but I'm not able to see it.

In this screenshot these are the only in-game settings. Before I start the game I choose 800x600 "low" settings.

Someone plz help me here. What driver should I use? With the latest amigamerlin or sfft the 3dfx tools and windows load as 5500 agp, not pci like i have. If I install with amigamerlin 3.0 it loads as pci but the game doesn't load at all then.
