Hello to all !

I have just installed an old Voodoo2 card along with the FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP GE driver from 3dfxzone.it, in order to play Red Baron 3D in glide mode. However, after switching to "glide" in the graphics menu, every time i want to actually fly a mission inside te game, the screen goes black and after hitting Ctrl/Alt/Delete i get an "Error in RB3D" message !
According to Windows the card + driver are working properly; also the driver demo's worked OK... So what might be the problem [?]
I also put my problem to a Red Baron forum, as it SEEMS to be something within the game, but maybe someone here can shed some light on it ??

My computer:
Intel Pentium III
256MB RAM
OS=Win XP

Thanks in advance,

Jasper.

..seems like that old problem with the glide2x to glide3x wrapper is striking again.unzip this archive to your system32 folder.

Thanks for the reply. I unzipped glide2x_radeon as suggested but unfortunately - no success...

...and the problem is SOLVED. Turns out i had to delete the unnecessary glide wrapper (which came with the "RB3D first aid kit") from the game folder. Oh well...

I too am having trouble with V2's and RB3D. Let me ask you, how is your FPS in glide?(alt-f) I have put together a machine with Win2k, a Radeon 9200se vid card and 2 V2's SLI together. I'm using FastVoodoo2_4.0_XP_Gold_Edition. The game had worked well with Win98 but not with Win2k?
