Why does 3dAnalyze always crashes?

I've tried many versions (now v2.34) and it has actually never worked for me! though I could play some games a year ago in wireframe mode (vice city, quake..). That's the only thing I could ever do with 3dAnalyze :D

Everytime I wanted to play a game with hardware TnL emulation 3dAnalyze just crashed, without launching the game (for example : battlefield 1942, nfs underground, Painkiller). It crashes even without selecting any option too.

I'm under windows 98 SE (french version, don't know if that matters), I had Amigamerlin 2.9, then 3dfx latest beta drivers, and now raziel64's Evolution Driver
err I should mention I have a voodoo5 [:o)]

I'm not bitching but this piece of software just does not work. Am I the only one in this situation?

Well, I personally never had Problems (with any Version) when I was running Win98SE.

And just recently, I used it to see the Matrox Parhelia Reef Demo on a Radeon as well (this time Win2000).

IMHO, the Program is extremely stable, and for as long as a Game has been tested to work (or simply works with it and the Options you gave it), I've never seen it crash once.

Might be your Win98SE Installation, and of course (by nature) it will only work with DirectX8/9 Games (not sure, but IMHO you need DX8 or DX9 installed of course).

Are you sure it is not the Games that actually crash ?
(which is absolutely possible, if not all requirements are met and only partially bypassed by 3DA)
