Hi Guys,

I have had a Voodoo 5 5500 PCI but my mate still has the box.

I wanna get my hands on the BACK shot of the box just to prove a point that HALO was first off designed and intended for a PC and to use the glide engine which is still amazing in my eyes.

Theres soo many morons with xboxes (i have one but it is 2nd best to a PC without a doubt) who think PC's are crap and the xbox is the best thing since sliced bread.

So basically I'm after a picture of the BACK of a Voodoo 5 or a Voodoo 3 (voodoo 3 would be better becuase its even LONGER ago!!) box that has the picture of the warthog and the blokes on it.
THIS SHOULD SHUT THEM UP!!!!

This what your looking for? Voodoo 3 did not have Halo on the back of the box...at leat not on my box Ask Nightbird she has more boxes.

hey, one last thing, is there a picture of master Chief on the box as well?

I thought, and am pretty sure that it was just the warthog? My mate is convinced that Master Chief is on it as well. Any chance you could snap the whole of the back (defo not on the ends as thats specs only)

That games looks excellent!  - Shame 3DFX went bust, I could just imagine what that game would be like... thrashing across beautiful landscapes in that jeep, shooting mad purple aliens - dunno what I'd call that thing, "jeep" is too obvious, it'd have to be something really stupid like "potbellied-pig" or something.

Whatever <sigh> would've been class, probably would have had some lame storyline like "Oh wow! the planet is a weapon! Let's destroy it before someone uses it to destroy us!!" oh oh!! and the Hero, can't be done calling him "Jack Strong" or anything corny like that - nope, this game had the potential to be fantastic, they'd have been no corny names in THAT game!

Oh well... guess we'll never know how good a game like that could've been... <sigh> memories.

I cannot remember Master Chief standing on the box. Im sorry I cant provide you a picture of the whole box (this isnt even mine). But if you look closely to the picture it seems it is Master Chief standing behind the gatling gun

You must be confused, Halo actually is available on PC. Its even playable on voodoo 5. I remember a topic her that provides all the information to make it run on voodoo 5. You need to run win98se and use the evolution drivers from Raziel64  

What?? You mean, that game THERE on the back of the box for a four-year old card - IS Halo? THE Halo? The one that every xbox owner on the planet is adamant that it's an Xbox-first release? WOW!!!

I'll be bum-jiggered... sorry about all that stuff I said about Halo, Xbox-owners... I'm sure the story and characters are all totally original

o_o Halo wasent made for the glide engines.It was made for any graphic cards with atleast 64mb. But Halo reccomends an Nvidia 128mb card.And Halo was first starting production about 3 or 4 years ago.So it would be easy to explain that picture on the voodoo 5 box.But it Halo in my thoughts works best on a maxtor!=D
