Whatever.

Notice how that thread started june 10th and it was only posted on x3dfx july 17th by lunar, after I discovered the thread and told bone who told him after I read this crap on falconfly's site:

http://www.falconfly-central.de/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=offtopic;action=display;num=1089581740

To make a long story short, noone would have really given a damn; clearly since it was "discovered" over a month later.

I could care less, but it would take too much effort.

So what do you people think of the third rampage?

Anyways, that's rampage #2. #3 is at a certain IHV and #1 is with that italian guy.

he has them numbered *rolls eyes* what next, names for them? Anyways, all you ppl here seem to talk about are the two with the normal GPUs, the one working and one non-working ones. So, I thought you might think of this as number three, but apparently someone has to correct me. So, number two now is it? How do you get that number, by revision, location, operation, design...or is it just something you pulled out of your a**?

That's #2 and it's going to be fixed; so no more broken spectres. And no you little boy, they're not names. It's pretty much a way to differentiate the three.

Heaven forbid someone tell them apart.

Amigamerlin

Hi guys,
to be clear there are only 3 Board of Rampage but the only one that is completely working prototype (no lock up build with the lastest PCB revision) and is in Italy and Paolo (AKA Sirta) is the guys that have it :D :D.
We have had the pleasure to have this wonderfull monsters about one years ago and 3dfxzone.it was the First Mondial Site that showed the Photo [8D] of something that no one have never seen.

Are you all interested in this board?.. well we have a complete set of photo :D.

Bye

little boy, that's an interesting one, don't think I've been called that in quite a while. anyways, the card does actually function, it's just that the colors are all inverted because it has no dongle

edit: not to be rude or anything amigamerlin, but I've got no time for staring at rampage pics while on 56k...

is it me or when they took off the heatsink it looked alot like a CPU socket like the Athlon MP / XP ones. You might be able to fit one on there if the pins weren't so off place possibly. That'd be fun thing to do tho.

Hum, you would like to put an Athlon XP/MP on this Ramage pcb ??
Funny idea ! [:p]

Don't export here the "problem/s" that you think to have elsewhere...
I think that on the Archive, the Administrators have been very clear.
Anyway, you have the p.m.

Rampage

If I understand it correctly, there are three Rampage's

1: In Italy with Sirta (It thought is was Amigamerlin, but that's not the point) It works quite well with the dongle.
2: Somewhere in Eastern Europe is a Rampage, it is working, but it hasn't got a dongle.
3: Somewhere in the USA is a Rampage, but is it ever proved that there is really one?

So 2 Rampage's are working, that's great news!

Damn it, why couldn't nVidia buy 3dfx a month later... than we would have had a lot more clearity.
