hi, i got a working v5-6000 rev 3700-a1, which i put on a agp2pci adapter on a p4-3ghz machine, running winxp.

now the agp2pci adapter seems to use some resources the v5 needs using too, resulting in the os knowing nothing about the card (although its installing v5 drivers at first!!).

as problems i get:

e/a conflicting at
- 03B0-03BB
- 03c0-03df
speicherbereich 00A0000-000BFFFF.

does someone here use an isa-card and know the right jumper-setting on the adapter? there loads of jumpers there.

i am very grateful for help with this special problem.

That sound cool! :)

Thanks koolsmoky!

Hi guys.

The jumpers on the AGP2PCI sets the power source and PCI interrupts.

JP1&JP2 power source (set both same)
use external power conector 1-2 open, 3-4 open, 5-6 close, 7-8 close
use PCI bus power 1-2 close, 3-4 close, 5-6 open, 7-8 open

JP3 PCI interrupts
INTA# 1-2 close, 3-4 open, 5-6 open, 7-8 open
INTB# 1-2 open, 3-4 close, 5-6 open, 7-8 open
INTC# 1-2 open, 3-4 open, 5-6 close, 7-8 open
INTD# 1-2 open, 3-4 open, 5-6 open, 7-8 close

Typically, PCI bus powered INTA# should work.

In order to use the V56K on top of the AGP2PCI under win2k/xp, you need a fixed windows miniport driver. There was a glitch in my old code which makes the combo go out of sync. I have fixed it since and all SLI and FSAA modes work now. I'm sure the drivers will be posted here by Glide soon.

Cheers,
KoolSmoky

ok, does someone know somebody who has got a v5-6000 working on a agp2pci adapter, or where to look for people like this.
