I have a game that requires a voodoo2 glide2x.dll and wont work even if i put one in the game folder. Is there anyway to make it work with banshee. Is there a universal glide2x that i can use or something?
It`s the lonelines that`s the killer...

is there any chance the game is Incubation: time is running out?

no universal file is available, you will need a patch for the game, either official or unofficial..

Nah. The game is Tonic Trouble 3dfx v2 bundle version. This is annoying...guess ill have to plug in the V2 again to be able to play this thing :\

hmmm.see if the game has a glide2x.dll in the game folder and delete it if present (this fix works for Croc for example)..do you have an exact error message or something?

Ehm, you can get Tonic Trouble with a Banshee Guillemot Phoenix (retail).
Where did you get your game ?
What driver are you using ?
What's the error message ?

Got it with Diamond Monster II bundle
Im using the bansheeteam driver
no error message just quits back to windows...if i put a v2 glide2x it says something about fxmemmap...it checks for the v2 but because i got only the banshee inside it gives that error message.

check yor windows/system32 folder for glide2x and make sure its s real glide2x from 3dfx,and NOT the 92Kb glide2x to glide3x wrapper (it runs great with UT,but old games hate it badly).original glide2x can be found in the latest driver package from 3dfx (available at Falconfly's).

Glide

Imho, there's a driver installation issue. glide2x library must be in windows/system32 folder and NOT in game folder (like OpenGL32.dll of MesaFX...). So please uninstall current driver, reboot and then repeat driver setup. If you are running Windows 98 or ME OS, install latest 3dfx reference for your card (release version 1.03.04, download it at https://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/3dfx/banshee/archivio/win9x.htm) and try to launch game.
