Hi alen, welcome in this board :)

If you read FV2 3.0 readme you can see this point:

[Troubleshoting]

FastVoodoo2 3.0 XP supports Quake3 engine based games via WickedGL included in \Tools\OpenGL directory

So you must install Metabyte WickedGL in the game dir and then you can to play with your Voodoo2 and OGL games (with a visual quality better than Windows 9X OS ;))

Let me know...[^]

Hi Glide, Thank you for your help.

I have already read FV2 2.5&3.0 Readme file .

I installed FV2 2.5 XP drivers & WickedGL , i thought may be the system and the game
didn't identify Voodoo2 currently whem i chosed the Voodoo2 in game , used FV2 2.5 XP & WickedGL drivers to drive G450 , so that error displayed.

What should i do to make VooDoo2 using it's OpenGL and Gilde dirvers?

Use FV2 3.0 XP drivers & WickedGL in Q3A Error Messenge :

Sorry if i repeat the same thing but we have to well understand ;) (lol)

Do you follow this procedure for install WickedGL for Quake3?
There is an image about it:

So:

1)Select Quake 3 in left window.

2)Select Quake 3 dir in right window.

3)Click on Install WickedGL with high resolution acceleration.

Now setup is ended.

If you add a Wicked dll file in a game...in game graphic menu you see WickedGL Voodoo2 driver like "default" and not like "Voodoo". If an error occurs when opengl32 is loading...probably your system is still using G450 card to run Quake 3.

I hope to be clear [:I] and helping you.

Let me know...

Bye bye
