PLEASE DON'T GET MAD :) I've tried posting in the correct section but hardly anybody ever goes there...most posts get in this section so, I thought why not maybe somebody will answer me :)

Well I just switched my drivers to Amigamerlin 3.0 from the drivers Windows installed. My problem is that whenever I try running the game it tries loading for about a split second then crashes back to the desktop...at one point I had the Voodoolizer 1.05.00 FINAL drivers installed and the game would play the intro movie then crash to the desktop...but the game ran fine with the default Microsoft drivers...but sadly MOHAA would not run so I went with the Amigamerlin 3.0 XP drivers and did the Quake III/WickedGL trick to get that particular game working...but no such luck with Black & White. Also so you don't wonder, I did install the drivers perfectly I know cuz' my opengl games (MOHAA, Jedi Knight 2) work perfectly. ALSO I have tried the "Enable MIP Map Dithering" and it didn't work .

P.S.
I am using KoolSmokeys Glide2x and the default Amigamerlin Glide 3x, and my "3dfx Tools" settings are the same as the Optimal settings displayed here(follow link if you really want to see: https://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/3dfx/bestsettings/am30xp.htm), I'm also running Windows XP Pro...

Thx, any help is much appreciated :)

What are your settings in the "3dfx Tools"?

perhaps a clean install will do the trick? can you run directx diagnosis?

I already did try a clean install...but I wonder if I try Installing on a differnt partition if it might work?

I ran the DirectX Diagnosis tool it was in my system/system32 folder and through all the tests no problems were found :( kinda wish there was so I would have an idea of whats causing the problem.

P.S.
Thx for helping me I've posted this problem in numurous Forums and this is the ONLY post that has had ANY responses, so I wanna thank you for helping me :). Also I just thought of the settings in Black and White...could it be related to any graphic settings turned on in the B&W Setup like "Use high res textures, use detail textures, etc.."?

well I clean installed on drive D: (previously was on drive C:) and for some reason the Uninstall wouldnt work so I manually deleted the Lionhead Studios Ltd. folder and went into the registry and deleted all things related to B&W (only 2 things :D) and then did the new install...sadly what I've nicknamed the "Flash & Crash" occured again [:(] wish I knew what to do...
