Quake I and Quake II Fps

Hi,can anybody tell me wich is the comand to put in the cfg file to show the fps in Quake 1 and Quake II since fraps don't work for me (it "****s" the textures")

in quake3 the console command is cg_drawfps 1, you have to write that command in console and not in the .cfg; maybe it's the same in q1 and q2[?]

well,that command doesn't work both for quake 1 and quake 2..
and to change resolution in quake 1 anybody knows?
