Voodoo2 SLI at last

I always wanted a V2 setup but could not afford it at the time but have finally got one running using a 12M STB and 12M M3D2 (not monster it's just stamped this on the back). Anyone know what it is.

I tried a diamond monster 2 but it refused to cooperate with either of the other cards even with reg tweaks.

I'm using the drivers posted by koolsmoky, thanks. I don't need to use the sli mismatched reg hack. So I might retry the FastVoodoo2 4.0 drivers now these cards are running together.

I remember at the time the V2s' came out people were complaining about the image quality with an SLI setup but I find it every bit as good as my V3 and V5 barring post filter support. UT is great at 60 FPS.

Gonna pump in a load of old glide games and sit here with a stupid grin on my face. :D

Thanks Nightbird.

So far not so good.
Games tested so far :-

UT works perfectly at 1024x768. Crazy to think we had this rendering performance available in 1997 but no CPUs' to do it justice.
GPL reboots PC on game exit.
Rollcage stage II reboots PC on mainly on start and always on exit.

This is with koolsmoky drivers regardless of SSTV2_MISMATCHED_SLI setting.
I retried the fastvoodoo drivers and just got a blank screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sys specs are.

Biostar M7NCD nforce2 mobo
XP2400 CPU
512MB PC2100 crucial ram
FX5900XT gfx card
12M STB V2 and 12M M3D2?
Audigy2 sound card
O.S is Win2K

install koolsmokys driver and use fxptl.sys from the fastvoodoo2 driver (copy the file to the folder where you have extracted koolsmokys driver, install the driver when you are done).this may not work because you have an nforce based mobo..I'm having problems with reboots as well (when using the beta memory mapper)..

I tried re-installing with the fxptl.sys from the fastvoodoo2 driver set and nothing would run so I'm back to the koolsmokys driver for now.

Is the rebooting problem unique to the nforce based boards as I can swap the V2s' out into either an ECS K7S5A, ASUS A7A266 OR ASUS K7A133 mobo.

switching mobo would be a good idea here, via and sis chipsets have better compatibility with vodooo2..
