Hi.
In the AGP slot, there are no cuts. But in the motherboard manual: only 4x agp card. Mainboard: Matsonic MS8137c. So, can I try this? Or its can damage my card or damage my motherboard?

Ok... sounds like an AGP Universal Slot... I download the manual from this MB, and I couldn't find the sentence that u said...

Say that the Slot supports AGP 4x Especifications, but doesn't say that is only an AGP 4x (1.5V)... So feel free for use it with your Voodoo card...

But if u prefer to wait for another answere, could be better...

This cpu is a bottleneck.

Well, i read the manual and specially the bios :
Agp 4x mode
"This item allows you to enable or disable the caching of display data for the processor video memory. Enabling AGP-4X Mode can greatly improve the display speed. Disable this item if your graphics display card does not support this feature."

Why this mode if the mobo supports Only the Agp 4x. ?

When the Ati card is set in the slot agp, is it possible in the bios to change from 4x to 2x or 1x ?

the chipset KT266/266A alone is capable of 1-4X as i had used a Voodoo 3(100% 2X AGP only) on AsRock K7VT2 (KT266), and no problem at all..
i think it's never bad to have a try..
(i've tried to put a 9600 mobility (8x) on a BX (2X) main board, and it shows blankscreen....fortunately the mainboard and display card is undamaged...so there are risks, but not great risks..or maybe i am fortunate
No way a 3DFX collector...just a 3DFX die Hard Player~~

let the VooDoo Roars!!

I think a K7VT2 is KT266A, actually.

In any event, I'm using a V5 5500 just fine in mine at home.

here in a A7v266-C (kt266a) no problems at all (i've tried from vBAN to v5 :) )
