It is the "Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror",
which used "unreal" engine,
and I use Gilde to play it.
But when I set the resolution up to 640x480 or more,
The game will crash!!!!!!!!
I can only press ESC and back to the desktop!!!!!!!!!!
But when it is not in fullscreen,
the resolution can set up to 800x600!!!!!
(My desktop's resolution is 800x600)
(My Gilde version is the AmigaMerlin V2.9's version)

I am using Voodoo 3 2000(8 MB)!!!!!!!!!
The driver is AmigaMerlin V2.9 (9x/ME)!!!!!!!!

My system:
Windows ME
CPU:Pentium III 500Mhz
RAM:256 RAM
Video card:
Voodoo 3 2000(8MB)
Driver:
AmigaMerlin V2.9 (9x/ME)

Amigamerlin is not the best driver under win 98. try the offical 1.07.00, i think this is the best driver! (I Try the amigamerlin 2.9 for a voodoo 3 2000 16mb, and its freezing when im running colin mcrae rally 2!!!)
AMD Athlon64 3200+@4200+, MSI K8N Neo4-F, 1gb Supertalent 480mhz, VooDoo 5 5500 Mac@PC

ahavasi, hi:D
The official 1.07.00 for win9x will freeze that game also, you need 1.05.00 or earlier driver for CMR2 (Get it from falconfly's)
Orrr... upgrade to win2000 and use SFFT alpha for V3 [8D]

teff, use an early version of glide2x.dll (say, from 1.07.00) and see if that solves the problem
                          ciao

Can I use the GlideXP V1016 from the Colourless?????
Can it solve the problem???????

...let me smell my fingers... sniffffff...
hmm.., why don't you try and find out:)
But!
You have a legacy Operating System, with a legacy game, why not go with a legacy driver?[8)]:D I suppose AM2.9 uses a glide2 to glide3 wrapper, and your game could be unhappy with it
So, ciao

glide xp is an opengl driver (interceptor),it can help you with opengl games, but not glide ones.glide xp is redundant today, mesafx works much better (call of duty runs almost twice as fast with mesafx than with glidexp)..

No, he is talking about the GLIDE part of the winXP project.  the 1016 update to glide fixes MANY problems with glide (and hence openGL and D3D because these drivers ALSO go through GLIDE to get the voodoos to do their thing).
Bloody Mess
