Hi Folks,

wanna hear my Voodoo2-Story?

Got a ASUS TUSL2-C with Intel Celeron 1400 few Weeks ago. Wanted to install my two Creative 3D Blaster Voodoo2 with Win98SE. First Attempt was to install drivers provided by Creative, but DirectX didn't show a second card and in Control Panel it also didn't appear. I installed the Voodoo2-Reference-Driver from voodoofiles.om then. All seemed to be running. But then i plugged a USB 2.0 Card with NEC-Chip into my PC. From now on the PC hang when first accessing an USB-Device such as the Scanner. Searched a lot on the web and found another driver on voodoofiles.com. but like the driver here from 3dfxzone games with direct3d could run but with every attempt to access glide (minigl in halflife or original UT) caused the system to reboot.

both card's had run fine with my old pentium I 233 system. won't try again no more. as soon as a save enough money, i'll spend it for an ati radeon 9000 aiw and the old voodoo2 can do their work in the 233 system.

go to bed now, don't wanna try anything anymore (for today)
