Hello guys,
I am a proud owner of Voodoo 3 2000 16MB PCI and AGP versions

I would like to use Voodoo 3 2000 16MB PCI in my new PC as back-up VGA

I have Samsung 940BW LCD (native resolution 1440x900)

I would like to use it with my Voodoo 3 2000 16MB PCI

what is the max resolution I can get from this voodoo card?

thanks Martin

The card can handle much more than 1440x900. :) 2048x1536x32 is the max in 2D, AFAIK. But to get 1440x900 working, you'll first have to force the driver to do so, I think. Use Powerstrip.

yes 2D only, so it can handle 1440x900@32bit 60Hz refreshrate with tweaked drivers (powerstrip as you have said) without any problem?

thanks

edit: which drivers would you recommend? (win XP SP2)
SFFT Alpha Driver
Amigasport 3.0 XP
3Dhq 1.09 beta 10
Amigamerlin 2.5 SE

My friend gave me voodoo3 which I needed to run third monitor (1440*900) in the system. I had some problems, but google and this forum helped.:) Installed SFFT and Powerstrip. Thanks!
