Hi I finally got a second voodoo2 card for my long awaited sli setup , but I can't get the damn thing to work , and I have tryed everything I could think off.The cards are INNOVISSION MIGHTY II V3 and CREATIVE , both with 12 mb . The SLI is detected in display properties but the MB info is only for one card.I have tryed FAST VOODOO 4.6 drivers and the REFERENCE DRIVERS with the ANDREI OSNOVICH patch. The both combinations show the same thing. When I run quake2 it allows the 1024x768 resolution but the game runs in a sort of window with thick black stripes on top and right of the screen. Also when I touch the chips on the second voodoo2 card (the one which is not connected to the monitor, i notice that they are hot , so the card is active)but the game doesn't show fullscreen, so something is wrong.Tryed the mismatched registry string with no success. The cards have different ram speeds 110mhz and 100mhz.Maybe that is the problem.I have tryed switching the slots and passtrough cable from one card to another. The SLI cable is original. Both of the cards run fine in single card mode, but I cant pair them.I am using win98se.My 2d card is S3 trio 2mb.WickedGl drivers and MiniGL , MESA variants freeze when SLI is enabled or show a black screen. Are there some other drivers I could try , or somekind of a workaround for this problem?
If someone could help me , please do , I am loosing my mind here trying this thing to work.
