hello to all

I immediately expose my problem:

I saw several places including my website (which is very well done) that my voodoo 3000 graphics card could play DVDs and that it could decode the mpeg 2

this is it true?

if so, how?

I have 2 pc with the same graphics card voodoo 3 3000

PC1:
OS: Windows 95
Processor: Pentium MMX 210 MHz
RAM: 64 MB EDO
7 GB of hard drive

PC 2:
os: windows 2000 pro
CPU: AMD 350 mhz
RAM: 128 MB
HDD: 40 GB

is

if possible, thank you to tell me how.

and thank you again

Hi, i'm searching about that, and all i can tell you right now is, WinDVD can use the voodoo3 for helping on the decode of a dvd, (help, not completely). I dont know if newer versions of WinDVD can still use the voodoo3, but, some version arround 1999-2000 will help, there is a patch for windvd too, "Patch99enu.exe".

Hope it helps

QuoteTry Power DVD 2.55 for W2K. It is the Best. V3 does not have motion compensation, so some rapid changes in picture of DVD may come up jerky edges and other artifacts on the screen, only PowerDVD has the best quality and is operable from PII-350 onward.
This is what I googled out for. Newer software may have dropped support for legacy hardware [I would]. Give PC #2 a go ;)
