What bios is your video card using?

Did you try flashing it?
#17
you don't need to change it to 3dFX mini Driver.

All you need to do after installing MesaFX properly is put the opengl32.dll into the GLDRV and it should work fine.
#18
it supports it... I use it all the time it's great.

BTW. which card are u using for this? and did u remember to put the glide3x.dll in the winnt/system32 folder (window/system folder for windows XP and windows/system32 folder for 98)

Also in counter strike you have to make a folder called gldrv in the main directory to use it.

LOL, that's a funny glitch... No legs!

Alpha 12 is a stable driver indeed. It doesn't randomly crash when surfing the web like it used to in alpha 3.

I would just like to report that the laggy FPS spikes that I found in live for speed have been fixed and that these drivers work perfectly in Gunbound. Good Job!

Recently when testing the 3 latest drivers for the voodoo 5 I've noticed it changes the colour of windows from windows standard grey to windows classic grey in windows 2000 when I alt tab out of games.
To fix it I have to apply windows classic than reapply windows standard. (in Right-Click Desktop ----> Properties ----> Appearances Tab)

Is there anyway I could tell if it's on or not after downloading MesaFX with implemented Temporal AA this has question has plequed me. I'd be grateful if there was a way.

Could you help me get this game running with the Alpha 12
http://www.nona.dti.ne.jp/~kbz/soft00.html

for some reason it crashs unlike in amigamerlin where it does not.

I looked in the event viewer and all it says is I had a mini dump.
When it crashs it restarts my whole computer with no Blue screen of death or anything.

Well, how are u reinstalling are u installing over windows 98 with 98SE or did u format...

I suggest u format your computer if u can and try reinstalling that way. It could be a side effect of what Windows 98's Drivers or something... that's there already.

By the way I already had this problem once. You can also refer to your motherboard bios and manual to make sure there are no problems with your IRQ. Try also installing the drivers. I can't remember quite what I did but try installing drivers. I think Code 9 means it can't activate it or something.

is it me or when they took off the heatsink it looked alot like a CPU socket like the Athlon MP / XP ones. You might be able to fit one on there if the pins weren't so off place possibly. That'd be fun thing to do tho.

There's a driver switching utility in the download area of this site.

Ah, Thanx for the info. I am very grateful for this information.

you can also download boot disks from the internet. I do that instead cause I can't find my windows 98 CD.
