Title: Windows10/11 x64 driver for Voodoo1 and Voodoo2
Post by: masterdeejay on 24 July 2025, 14:38:29
I have some success with signed old driver with voodoo1/2 on a Windows11 system.
It needs to enable test mode. (bcdedit -set testsigning on)
The drivers modded with a test cert. It is based on windows2003 x64 drivers from http://www.users.on.net/triforce/glidexp/

uploaded the cert added drivers:

For test I used ASM1083 pcie-pci bridge adapter. Only a few games tested, carmageddon2 works but quake2/unreal not. For desktop i used the integrated gpu of the QTJ1 ES cpu, HDMI.

Im looking for a source for the XPDM 64bit driver for voodoo3/4/5, I'm not an expert programmer but i want to try recreate it in WDDM format. I think there are no wddm drivers for voodoo cards. V1 and V2 works with the XP X64 driver because they are not using the windows desktop.

Hello masterdeejay,

I hope all is good.

This is an important goal, and I like to thank you for your effort focused on 3dfx hardware.

Are there specific steps that people have to follow in order to successfully replace your Voodoo2 software setup on Windows 11?

Regards.
