Title: Intel Extreme(-ly slow) Graphics vs Voodoo2
Post by: secretfj on 25 July 2004, 07:04:24
I wanna ask for playing OpenGL/DirectX Games which one will have better performance? (Voodoo w/o SLI)
and how about getting a pair of Voodoo2 with SLi enabled?

the intel one is 845GL w/ Overclock to 160FSB

thanks

A Voodoo2 SLI setup won't run faster than a single Voodoo2 card but the SLI setup will run at 1024X768 where the single Voodoo2 card will only do 800X600.

hmm, methinks intel extreme has only directx support, no opengl, so no comparison there, V2 is winner by default. On D3D, I really don't know, but it couldn't hurt to hook it up and give it a whirl
