Title: Help needed to identify my grafix card
Post by: 3dfxnewbie on 17 April 2003, 17:41:56
Hi:
I've got a PCI graphix card. Don't know what it is-exactly.
Has on it:

[C] 2000
3dfx Interactive Inc.

Has 1 cpu chip covered by 1 fan.
Under fan is short-finned heat sink.

On back are 3 white stickers with numbers.

Has one 15 hole VGA port & one ADV port.

Does it need drivers to work in PCI Mac?
Where are those drivers available, please.

Appreciate your time & information. Thanks

2000's card, PCI with a single CPU and a fan on it sounds like a Voodoo4 PCI.
If it has a DVI port in addiction to standards VGA one, it is a Mac version, so it should have a mac-compatible bios on it. In order to have it run smoothly you can download drivers here http://www.voodoofiles.com/3510
