Title: Voodoo2 and Asus A7V8X-X conflicts?
Post by: Big Gay Al on 15 May 2005, 06:39:36
I have Voodoo2 with an ATI 9250 on an Asus A7V8X-X mobo.  Until I had to change the mobo/cpu combo, the above Voodoo and ATI video card had worked in the past.  Now, when I try to run European Air War, all I get is a blank screen.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with the Voodoo2 and the mobo that I have now, or is it the Athlon Sempron 2500+ cpu?

Thanks,

What drivers ?
What cpu/mobo did you use before ?
Did EAW work "before" ?

Just the standard drivers.  The previous combo was a Giga-Byte 7IEXH and AMD Athlon 1300 CPU.

Yes, EAW did work on the previous mobo/cpu combo.

The Voodoo2 drivers are said to be version 4.3.0.1098 from 9/19/2000.

most of that info will apply for a single voodoo2 as well..
