I have an a7s333 (asus) which, however, causes problems in connection with the v5 pci (bus overload). the problem is known to the company asus and is ignored, I therefore need a new board.
please write of your experiences with your boards, which boards work without problems with a v4/5 PCI?
A7S333 + XP1800 + Thermalright AX-7 + 1x 512 MB DDR Micron + Seagate Barracuda IV 80 GB + SD-M1612 + Voodoo 4500 AGP + Hercules Fortissimo II in Chieftec: DX-01W + Blacknoise 300W + IBM Rapid Access II + Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical + Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power 2 + Samsung SyncMaster 950p

I have a voodoo 5 5500 PCI on a SOYO KT-400 DRAGON PLATINIUM EDITION & I don´t have any problen with my PCI BUS
Epox 8k7a+ works fine
I'd recommend going with an AMD chipset board like the AMD-761 chipset.
If you need something newer try the KT400 like Rotor has.
something to look at is your FSB,are you overclocking?
the agp/pci dividers,if not available in BIOS,
are usually set.maybe a corrupt bios?.
A FSB@133 shouldn't cause problems.Have you tried
lowering the FSB to see if the same thing happens?
same thing here "AMD Athlon xp 1800" + "Epox 8k7a+" + "Voodoo 5 pci"
I have a VoodooMac 5500 PCI on an Epox kt333 8k5a3+ board and all is ok, playing very smooth
I'm running a V5 PCI with a ECS K7S5A.
The reason I'm recomending you this MOBO is because it has the normal features (chipset S735 I think) and I'ts F*ckin cheap.
I'ts a good budget MOBO and dont have hardware problems.
put in the bios this freature:
"init display fisrt: PCI"
put the card int he fisrt PCI Slot or in the last PCI slot
if the problñem don´t solve tell me
