Title: Voodoo 5 PCI as secondary
Post by: yahoopp10 on 30 November 2004, 22:04:48
Looks like I finally found a 3dfx community that knows a thing or two.
I recently acquired a Voodoo 5 PCI, with intention to use as a secondary card, obviously for gaming purposes.
Question: how should I go about setting it up/using it?
I would prefer not to use two monitors.
Is anyone else doing the same thing?
Is there a way to adapt the VGA-out D-sub on the card to my TV?  Possibly via S-video?
Would the best way to use a monitor switch, so that when I (somehow) kick-in the Voodoo, the signal can be properly routed to the monitor?
Any help would be appreciated.

Word.
That's what I was looking for.
Thanks, Voodoo5.

In the mean time, I found another possible solution...
seems that some TV's have VGA-in ports!
For example, the Mitsubishi WD-62825:

I guess I'll probably get one of those.
