does anyone have any vendor id's or solutions to make the game run with 3d-analyze?

In the readme, it says that Ati 9800 Pro, and 8500 are supported. i tried to run the game with these(with the help of the device id's found in the 3d-analyze.exe ;)) but it keeps saying that i needed a direct x 9.0c capable video card..

HELP!!
