Title: Bug Report Amigerlin 3.0 on W2K
Post by: Paul Harrison on 13 October 2003, 22:37:00
I have tried Amigerlin 3.0 on W2K DX7 using the Space Bots DXSDK 7 Sample, and the driver appears to be drawing on the screen in the Vertical Blank interval?. I get sprites with intermitent large black horizontal bands through them. Did someone forget to check the OS version when passing that new structure to VideoPortDDCHelper. Is there a DX version 8 driver that works for W2K aprt from the Microsft Voodoo3 version.

are you using a Voodoo 3? in that case, you should be using AmigaSport 3.0, not Amigamerlin.

when the sun goes down, the music turns up...

Windows XP Pro|Athlon XP 1800+|GeForce2(temporarily, for compatibility purposes)|MSI K7T266-A|768MB DDR 2700 RAM|SonicEdge 5.1 Sound Card

No the problem decribed is seen using a Voodoo 5500. I was just wondering about DX8 support.
