Well it's really been a while since i have been here, and i wanna say thanks to all of the people that helped me, but i think im done with all of this now, voodoo and what not, i just lost 2 in a house fire and actually everything else i owned, my poor v5 5500 agp rev2600 a0 and my mac voodoo 5 5500 pci mac rev2700 a1 it was fun and i did love the card but now i have much more important things to worry about, and like i said thanks it really was great for a while...

Well i know how you all hate when people post the same thing in more than one catagory but... I just formatted my hdd and installed dx9c and it wont update my d3d files past dx7, every proggy i run to test dx says i only have d3d7 installed, even the direct x tool that comes w/ n nvidia geforce fx5200, i also have a voodoo 5 5500 mac (flashed to x86) installed, but i havnt yet installed the drivers for it because i like my geforece a lot, and i only wanna play gta 3 right now but everytime i play it it crashes after about 3 mins, things slow down to a halt then i get a ddhelp.? (dll i think) error and then every time i run it after that w/o shutting my pc down it crashes w/o even starting, I'm runnin win 98 se w/ all updates and service packs, should i try to install another ver of dx? or what should, i do, or should i even try starting w/ dx8 and working my way up? well thanks, and sorry about the double post but i waited like a week and something an only 11 people even looked at it so i decided to do this, thanks again for any and all help you make available to me.

hey there i just got a geforce fx 5200 w/ composite & s-vid tv out and i just wanna know if it is safe for me to put the agp 4x card in my agp 2x slot, it says that it runs fine at 2x but i wanna know if i will hurt the card putting it in there.  Thanks.

I tried several times to flash my new voodoo 5 5500 pci mac in dos and it would not recognize the card, and when it finally did my pc crashed while flashing it, so i reverted to flashing it in windows using a dos emulator (the one that comes w/ win i.e. command.com) and it worked first try like a snap, now it's the only card that i have in my pc and its great, i know ur supposed to flash things from dos, or u can fry them, but after 2 hours of nothing i had to try and it worked great, is this a bad thing?  well thanks for any feedback. Well i just got a voodoo 5 5500 pci for and it is MUCH better than the v5 5500 agp that I have been using for a while, its faster less buggy and MUCH more stable... does this make sense, i thought that agp cards were supposed to be faster, and besides which my v5 5500 agp was runnin at an 84 mhz bus rate, and i know that it didnt use agp texturing so it's basicly a pci card but wouldnt that make them equal? well i guess that's about it, oh, and the colors look MUCH better on my new voodoo, plus i have dvi out now i wish they would have released others like this for pc, poor 3dfx, overall this card is better, im dl'n 3d mark 03and im bout to test this one right now, so i will let u know how that comes out, and if it amazes me i will pop my agp back in and see how they compare, ty

Well well i also wanted to know im bout to get a voodoo 5 5500 mac and flash it to pc then i wanted to know if i can run 2 monitors off of  it showing seperate displays (i.e multi-monitor support) and if so will it conflict w/ my 2 monitors i will be running off of my g-force fx 5200 (t.v and monitor) it has a db 15 monitor plug an s-vid and a composite out... i just wanted to know if i can use all 5??? that would be AWESOME thanks for all the help you guys all give me im very appreciative

I was just wondering if there is anyway to make a software sli for voodoo 5 5500, cause im about to have an agp and a pci version (w/dvi) and i wanted to know if it were possible to make a proggy that acted like a software sli to link them together... if not i will be retireing my agp voodoo 5 5500 for a better agp card which i also am getting from ebay.... well like i have said b4 thanks for any help u can give me, oh and if it's possible i will try to code it myself i just wanna know b4 i try to do it thanks

Well i have been trying to upgrade my windows 98 to win 98 se and every time i get past the reboot it starts i put in my code and then my pc crashes saying there is a configuration error on device 009 which is my voodoo card i just wanna know if there is anyway around it or do i have to find another card to put in until i install the os then change back to my voodoo... i really dont wanna do that so if u can help lemme know... thx

Ok i downloaded the demo for Teenage mutant ninja turtles for pc and i have a voodoo 5 5500 agp, 600mhz p3, 384 megs of pc133 ram, Raziels evolution 1.00beta drivers, dx9b, oh and win 98 FE ( first edition ) and i cant get it to work... when i click on the game the screen goes black then right back to the desktop... am i doing something wrong or do i need to use 3d analyze for it I just want some help cause the game looks fun and if i like the demo i may buy it... thanks to anyone that can help me.

 Well i fig'd out what the prob was. my pc likes to corrupt files in my sys dir when i leave it on too long and i guess thats what happened  
to my 3dfx dx driver cause after a reinstall of the evolution drivers it now works GREAT, the game is beautiful and very smooth on my pc that is well below (600mhz) the recommended speed... I LOVE MY V5 5500
i had it running at 1024x768x32 4x fsaa and almost no slowdowns at all.... like i said GREAT, peace all

Well i found this new version of the 1.18 bios w/ a setup tool for the v5 5500... maybe even 6000 not quite sure though... but when u start  
ur comp if u hit f1 it takes u to a setup util where u can change most of the timers on ur voodoo card... even has a nice 3dfx logo... GREAT i say and the frequency selector works for both chips on my v5

is there any way to enable FSAA for 2d or the desktop? cause i have to run my desktop at a low res to get a decent refresh rate and well i just wanted to know if it were possible to remove jaggies from it... t/y

Every time im online i keep getting this NDIS.vxd error and a blue screen then my comp freezes at the blue screen... i cant figure out how to stop this or fix it... plz help if possible... thankx a lot for anything you can do.

I just started the DirectX Diagnostic tool and it says that i only have 30.5 megs of ram on my voodoo 5 5500 agp, now is this something i should worry about because i know it was supposed to report having 32 i just want to know if something is really wrong, also with raziels .9 driver i get no spinning cube in the dx 8 & 9 tests...

Hello there I would like to know what the pin-outs are for the feature connector on a v5 5500 agp, and if it is at all possible to connect two of them (agp2pci) together using this... but in any case i would like the pin-outs anyways, for i think i may try to put a LCD monitor on the side of my desk...
