bios upgrade for voodoo 5 to 1,16 inproves speed heaps
the smoothest from the 1.06 bios my v5 shipped with
compare to 1.16 bios is one best upgrades to the vodooo 5 card
also i use the pci bios 1.16 on a agp voodoo 5 its runs even faster i recon, something about 3dfx working on the pci bios first then just moveing it to the agp version, but the agp voodoo 5 in hardware runs in pci mode anyway , so it works perfects the pci bios on the agp card
i hope you understand what im saying
the pci bios types can work better in a agp voodoo 5 card
who tryed this too and found the result to be postive

Well it looks like every thing got turned off after the flashing, when i turned every thing back on it was way slow, sorry about that.

I'm also running with Voodoo 5 5500 PCI - So which one will work/best 1.16, 1.16 modified or 1.18. So what happened after your flash DarkRain. Could you be more specific.
The best BIOS for the Voodoo5 5500 AGP is the 1.18. That's the one I have on my card and it works very well. Use the 1.18 mod if you are going to OC your card. I have tested all the BIOS's on that site for the Voodoo5 5500 and the 1.18 is the best.

Yeah but what is best for the Voodoo5 5500 PCI? I actually have already succesfully upraded the BIOS from 1.11 to 1.16 (original) and everything turned out perfectly :)...but I see the 1.18 is to enable Digital Video or something? Does that make it incompatable with my card since it doesnt have a DVI out or in?
