Title: 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 | Unreal gameplay using native Glide-based graphics engine
Post by: Glide on 20 March 2021, 18:12:44

The unstoppable ciacara has liked to share with 3dfx enthusiasts a new gameplay footage recorded with its modded video card Voodoo5 5500 Agp Arctic Accelero L2 Plus Version. Compared to previous video made with the same 3dfx dual VSA-100 based card, now the author has chosen to run Unreal using native Glide-based engine.

Unreal's graphics settings include graphics resolution equal to 1600x1200 pixels, while gameplay has been recorded at Full HD (1920x1080 pixels) video resolution with a frame rate equal to 60 fps.

Main hardware and software components of the testing system follow.

Hi Glide,
thank you for the review and for the space you continue to offer for publication.

This time it was particularly difficult to find the right compromise for a good acquisition.
At the resolution of 1600x1200, with the Glide api, problems begin to arise that I was able to solve, in part, by bringing the image refresh to 75Hz.

The result is good but, as always, we aim to get the best in this case too.

Let's see with will go with the next Gameplay.:)

Se you.
