Title: WTF is wrong w/ my voodoo 5 5500 agp
Post by: nSomniac on 17 June 2004, 02:24:12
I just started the DirectX Diagnostic tool and it says that i only have 30.5 megs of ram on my voodoo 5 5500 agp, now is this something i should worry about because i know it was supposed to report having 32 i just want to know if something is really wrong, also with raziels .9 driver i get no spinning cube in the dx 8 & 9 tests...

Thanks Nsomniac

Changing from 640*480 256 colors to 1600*1200 32 bits will change the number that you see because dxdiag reports :
- the memory used for 1 VSA 100
- then minus the memory used for the frame buffer (i.e the 2D windows display)

About the Raziel 0.9 drivers, i installed the last version (1.00.00 beta) on my machine and no problem with DxDiag.
