Title: Fastvoodoo2 vs Reference drivers?
Post by: Naelphin on 22 October 2003, 22:54:33
Hello,

I am on a very old computer, and would like to squeeze as much performance as possible from my voodoo2.

How big are the FPS/quality improvements are over the stock reference drivers from 3dfx? I am using 98SE.

Thanks in advance.

from what I understand, there are FPS and quality improvements as a result of the FastVoodoo2 drivers (my V2 is en route from the UK right now:) will find out for myself soon). as for what they are exactly, it varies depending upon your system, especially if the CPU can't keep up with the video card. If you really want to know exactly, you are in the best position to find out;)
