I guess they didn't realize that you are every person that plays this game.
You can switch back using the Beta branch, but you can also disable Async compute through the registry options.
Because Maxwell doesn't have async compute.
The question we should be asking is why add Async Compute now when it was already added to the Xbox one version from the beginning?
I think they removed it for the pc version when it became a Nvidia sponsored game. The 10x0 series cards are better at DX12 so they added it now. Ridiculous developers.
It cannot be unless developer use DX12. DX12 is the only option for AMD to utlize multi core.

Another question, Async is support only on GCN 1.1 (not 1.0 and 1.2)?
1.0 7xxx series
1.2 Fury series and Tonga
Or is it a typo in the patch notes?
