It's on line a package adding MesaFX support to FastVoodoo2 XP driver for Windows XP
Voodoo2 users now can play OpenGL based games like Quake 3 Arena, Quake 3 Team Arena, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and many other using MesaFX library. This new software interface improves both the rendering visual quality and gaming speed on most part of current Intel Pentium 4 and AMD Athlon systems running Microsoft Windows XP environment.
Package content
These files are included: enable.exe, mesa_fx.exe, default.exe. The first enables MesaFX support with 3dfxzone.it FastVoodoo2 4.0 XP driver and it requires one only setup step. The second allows running your games with MesaFX library and it must be added to any games. The last restores default driver status for better compatibility with some unsupported games and for troubleshooting.
Package installation
Install
procedure is simple and fast, it has these following steps:

Unzip
the archive named v2_mesafx_xp

Double
click on enable
and follow istructions: this must be done one time only

Double
click on mesa_fx,
then push the Browse
button and select game folder: finally hit Install
button. Please note this step must be repeat for all supported
games

Set
up to 16
bit your desktop color depth

Now
software update is complete and game could be launched
Troubleshooting
If visual corruptions and/or some games now don't run you can fastly restore default driver setting with a double click on default.exe. Then remove openGL32 file from game folder.
