Valve Software showed interesting contents for media about its upcoming first-person shooter game Counter-Strike:
Global Offensive (also known as CS: GO). Particularly, Valve posted the following in-game trailer and screenshots
of CS: GO. Both the items're very useful to have ideas about the gameplay of this new title.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is of course near to previous episodes of Counter-Strike Series, but this one makes
available for the gamers some up-to-date features, like the HD graphics as well as new gaming modes and maps. Besides, CS: GO
includes the remake of some old and well-known maps of CS.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is currently in development by Valve Software and Hidden Path Entertainment, the software house that co-developed Counter-Strike: Source with Valve. Four editions of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be available for the gaming platforms PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac OS X in early 2012. Finally, the game will be distribuited by the services Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and Steam.
